West Yorkshire Local Transport Plan partners and stakeholders

The latest plan for the future of transport in West Yorkshire for 2011-26 (branded 'MyJourney West Yorkshire') is currently being prepared by a dedicated team based at the Integrated Transport Authority (Metro), working in partnership with the five district Councils of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield. It aims to improve the quality of life of people in the region by addressing important issues through improvements to the integrated transport system.

MyJourney – We want to ensure a collaborative approach to the preparation of the plan with partners and stakeholders in the transport, regeneration, health, business and wider sectors, communities and individuals. More information about the plan and how you can get involved, including regular newsletters and details of upcoming events and meetings, can be found in this section of the website.

If we haven't already been in touch, please don’t hesitate to contact West Yorkshire's Local Transport Plan team or register your interest in getting involved. Details of our current consultations can be found here. You can also follow us on twitter or read our newsletters to keep updated on progress with the plan.
